Iceland With Kids – Live Stream interview with Eric Newman

Is it possible to travel to Iceland with kids? Of course, Iceland is very family-friendly. In this live stream, we talk with Eric Newman, who fell in love with Iceland after traveling to Iceland with his family over 10 years ago. He and his wife, Laura, have written three books about Iceland:

iceland with kids by Eric Newman, lundi the lost puffin, 100 tips for visiting Iceland

Iceland with Kids – a travel guidebook for families visiting Iceland

Lundi, the Lost Puffin – an award-winning children’s book about puffins on the Westman Islands

100 Tips for Visiting Iceland – book released in 2022, and you can get a free ebook version of it through Kindle Unlimited here.

The Newmans went on their first trip to Iceland in 2009; Laura was six months pregnant, Eric was on crutches, and they had their three children, ages 3, 5 and 7, with them. Like they say on their website: If they can do the trip pregnant, on crutches and with three young children, then so can you!

Since then, they have come regularly and spent the summer here in 2016, then with five children.

Today he is a travel agent and, for example, does custom travel itineraries. Check out their website Iceland with Kids and Facebook group Iceland with Kids.
