Our Popular City Walking Tour combo with Whale Watching

This roughly 2- hour Reykjavik Walking Tour is your introduction to Iceland.  Then after your enjoyable city Walk starting at 10 am, you will have a short lunch break before heading out to do some Whale Watching on board a comfortable boat.

The Walk With a Viking – City tour is designed to help you get your bearings in our capital city and make the most of your stay in Iceland. We recommend this as your first stop in Reykjavik! For more specialist adventures, head over to our Reykjavik Walking Tours to explore further.

We will visit all the highlights of the Reykjavik city center and also share hidden spots with you, like a visit to a genuine Elf home and other local gems – things easily missed if you didn’t know where to look.

After your City Walk it's soon time for Whale Watching

You will have time to grab a quick lunch from around 12 – 1 pm (maybe the one and only Icelandic Hot dog?) before heading down to the seafront and starting the next adventure.  Your Whale Watching Tour on the ship Andrea leaves at 1 pm (13:00) from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík. Warm floatable overalls are provided for your comfort & safety – overalls are also available in children’s sizes!

The Andrea is a large and comfortable boat that has an educational & interactive focus on-board so you will keep learning while enjoying the fantastic views of the mountains that surround Reykjavík. The most common species seen in Faxaflói bay are Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, White Beaked Dolphins, and Harbour Porpoises.

The Whale Watching tour is about 3-3,5 hours long so you should be back at the Harbor around 4-4.30 pm.
The total length of this experience is then roughly from 10 am – 4:30 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break).
