Our friendly horses and specially trained guides will take you on a ride on excellent riding paths where you can enjoy beautiful scenery full of lava fields and green hillsides.
This is meet at the location tour, but you can add the pick-up option from Reykjavik while booking. The pick-up from the designated bus stop or your hotel directly starts 1 hour before the departure time. If you are arriving by own car, please be at Ishestar Stables 30 minutes before the tour begins.
The riding time is around 1.5 – 2 hours.
Before the Lava Tour starts, we organize the groups according to riding skill level to ensure everyone gets an experience and adventure according to their skill level!
It’s suitable both for beginners and more experienced riders.
When we arrive back at the stables, it’s time to enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Feel free to ask our staff any questions about the Icelandic horse!
