A perfect first day in Iceland, get a great orientation of Reykjavik & Iceland on our Walk With a Viking, City Walking tour, and then you head out to catch your dinner out to sea. The freshest fish you will ever have, as your first dinner while in Iceland.
We meet up at Ingólfur Square in the center of Reykjavik by the two stone pillars (3 meters high) at 1 pm (13:00) (By Aðalstræti). Our Reykjavik walking tour is your introduction to Iceland. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland. W recommend it as your first stop in Reykjavik.
Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with exciting stories and Icelandic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center, such as Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik Harbour, Hallgrímskirkja Church (we’ll teach you how to pronounce that), Reykjavik Pond and the Parliament building.
The city tour takes approximately 2 hours and when you have finished your orientation it’s soon time for Sea Angling from Reykjavik Harbor.
Your Sea Angling Tour leaves at 5 pm (17:00) from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík. Protective clothing is provided for your comfort & safety. We set off from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour and head out to fishing areas in Faxaflói Bay, where your experienced crew will usually spot fish in a flash!
After catching some fish, the crew willgrill your catch on board & serve it with potatoes and sauce!
This will be the freshest fish dinner you will ever have!
We’ll be showing you our favorite places to eat, drink and visit in Reykjavik. We also have an intimate knowledge of happy hour deals that we’re happy to share.
We never have more than 12 of our new friends on this tour, meaning we can answer all of your questions and get to know each other a bit. But if you’d like a smaller, even more personal experience, check out our Private Walk With a Viking option.
