Glacier Hike
This is an informative, safe, and easy glacier walk on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue. Your certified glacier guide will lead you through a frozen wonderland of different shades of glacier ice; white ice, blue ice, and crystal clear ice. You will safely see deep crevasses, water cauldrons, and other exciting glacier features.
During the hike, you will have plenty of photo opportunities, and your expert guide will share his wisdom about the ever-changing landscapes of the Icelandic glaciers, their formation, and their interplay with the surrounding volcanoes and mountains.
Equipment
No technical skills are needed for this tour, and you will be provided with all the necessary glacier equipment. This is an excellent, family-friendly way to experience the Icelandic glaciers.
