Meet us at Midgard Base Camp in the morning, where we’ll start with a brief introduction and safety briefing. Then, we’ll head to Skógar waterfall, about a 30-minute drive.

Once ready, we’ll begin our hike along the beautiful Skógá river, featuring over 20 stunning waterfalls. We’ll journey between Eyjafjallajökull (famous for its 2010 eruption) and Mýrdalsjökull, home to the Katla volcano.

As we cross the 2010 volcanic area, you’ll see the warm lava fields and the impressive craters, Magni and Móði. Descending into the breathtaking Þórsmörk, you’ll feel on top of the world, surrounded by nature’s glorious creation.

After celebrating our achievement with a delicious hamburger barbecue and drinks, we’ll return to Midgard Base Camp in a super jeep or big bus, even crossing unbridged rivers along the way. At the end of the hike, a delicious hamburger barbecue + beers/soda will be waiting for you.

Please note: This is a demanding and long hike (24 km in total). You need to be fit enough to hike for 9-12 hours and have the stamina to hike up mountains. The path is uneven at times, taking you uphill and downhill.
