Start your day at 10 AM with a guided walking tour through the heart of Reykjavik, beginning at Ingólfur Square (by the two three-meter stone pillars). This relaxed stroll offers the perfect introduction to Iceland’s capital. Along the way, you’ll see key landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, the Parliament, Reykjavik Harbour, and Tjörnin (Reykjavik Pond). Our expert local guides will share stories from Icelandic history, mythology, and everyday life—plus point out great places to eat, drink, and explore, including a hidden Elf home!
After the walking tour, you’ll have free time between 12:00 and 13:30 to enjoy lunch—perhaps an iconic Icelandic hot dog—before making your way to Reykjavik’s Old Harbour for the next part of your adventure.
At 2 PM, hop aboard Amelia Rose, a specially designed puffin-watching boat with a shallow draft, ideal for getting close to the rocky shores of Akurey Island. The ride only takes about 15 minutes, offering scenic views of Reykjavik’s skyline from the water. Once near the island, the engine is turned off so you can peacefully observe puffins and other seabirds in their natural habitat. Your guide will share insights into the birdlife, local folklore, and the surrounding landscape, making this the perfect blend of culture, nature, and wildlife.
