Volcano Hike

You start the day with an extensive geological exploration of the Reykjanes Peninsula, a UNESCO Global Geopark with diverse volcanic and geothermal activity. It includes an 8km hike to the active volcano at Fagradalsfjall and Geldingadalir.

Geothermal attractions 

After visiting the volcano, we will start exploring the geothermal wonders of Reykjanes. Among the highlights are boiling mud pools of Gunnuhver and Seltún, colorful lava fields, and volcanic craters. Our guide will explain the geological forces behind a landscape of this caliber.

The Blue Lagoon

Towards the end of the tour, we stop at the Blue Lagoon and explore the area and the history of this popular tourist attraction. A visit to the Lagoon can be added to the tour, but note that tickets are not included.

We recommend you bring good hiking shoes, warm clothing, waterproof layers, a water bottle, and a swimsuit (to the Blue Lagoon).
